Mr. Alan Freeburn MSc. Psychological Therapy, BSc. (Hons) Psychology, M.H.
Alan is a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology
Alan has worked in both Adult Mental Health and Private Practice for many years. He is trained in CBT and over the last 20 years has also trained in and used hypnosis extensively in his Psychology Practice.
Over the last eight years he has specialised in Sports Mindset work with both individuals such as boxers and runners as well as in team sports such as football and hockey. Most recently he has been working with both young amateur footballers as well as supporting players in a professional team. Hypnosis has been particularly beneficial in his sports work to help athletes build confidence, develop visualisation and focus skills to improve performance, and support them in returning from injury.
As an advocate of good mental health Alan is especially keen to support athletes and teams using sports mindset training to maximise performance.
