The Sports Mind Scotland Team is made up of Psychologists who have a number of years experience in the assessment and treatment of psychological problems. Members of the team have worked in both the NHS and in Private Practice and over the years have worked with individuals, groups, sports teams and various public/private organisations.

Clinical Psychologist is a protected title. This means anyone who uses this title will have completed specialist Post-Graduate training, in assessment and treatment of Mental Health/Psychological problems. A Clinical Psychologist can work with you to improve your emotional. mental and behavioural well being.
Clinical Psychologists undergo regular supervision and are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Clinical Psychologists are trained to deliver a number of evidence based treatments. Regular supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) are requirements for practice.
Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology:
Clinical Associates undertake a 12 month training course. Training consists of assessing and treating adults presenting with a wide range of common mental health problems using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Regular supervision and Continuing Professional Development are requirements for practice.
